Have you ever heard about a summer camp “Courage to change” organized by Gibanje za dostojno delo in socialno družbo? If not, this is a big omission. This year was no exception and the camp was held in friendly atmosphere in a beautiful location Ljutomer. Members of Gibanje and those who care about the topic of precariat visited the camp.
The camp began with a round table “Decent work for all generations”. Precarization of the labor market, decent work, the perception of solidarity,were main topics of discussion. During the three days these issues have been raised again and again. On the agenda there were also questions of the further development of Gibanje, further actions aimed at improving the situation on the labour market.
The camp is not just space for discussion but also an opportunity to see good friends and meet new one. Numerous conversations, friendly atmosphere, guitar songs are an integral part of the camp.
Performance of “Theatre of the Oppressed” was a kind of new method of raising awareness of the problems of the precariat. Some very important problematic topics were showed through theatre.
During the camp each of us received a boost of energy for the whole year, new ideas and a desire to return there next year.
